: How do I lock or un-lock a forum?

Use this feature to close forums from the public. Once a forum has been locked, no new threads or posts will be accepted in it.

You can lock or un-lock a forum by following the directions below:

1. Login to your Website Toolbox account.
2. Click the Manage Forums link.
3. Click the Edit link next to the forum of your choice.
4. Check or uncheck the checkbox next to the Forum is locked option.
5. Click the Submit Settings image.

Note: Moderators are exempt from locked forums. They will still be able to make posts as they normally would.
